This is because the first day of work is often the orientation day, and if a person does not soak up all they can about the duties and responsibilities of their new job because they are sleepy, they can be lost and confused in their work for the following few days.

To be safe, do dress nice for every interview and don't underestimate the power of classy fashion in your candidacy.
