I Certainly Found The Greatest Senior Apartments Mesa, AZ Has To Offer

By Pierre T. Schinner

My father came and moved in with us after my mother passed away from breast cancer, and while it seemed to be working out well, we began to notice that my father was feeling a bit cramped and felt in the way, so we figured we would look into what kind of senior apartments Mesa, AZ had to offer. This was not an arbitrary decision, as my dad has always loved southern Arizona and always complains about the cold and snow during the winters here, which are, admittedly, quite long.

And while it may seem like we were sending my father in to exile, his brother lived down there, along with a couple of Dad's cousins who he had been really close to while they were growing up together. When I got the courage to talk to my dad about it, I was scared that he would not like the idea, but he was actually thrilled with the idea and couldn't wait to start searching for the nicest senior apartments Mesa, AZ had to offer.

We first went to the Internet to see what choices were out there, as we knew it would be easier to compare the apartments and find the perfect place for Dad to live and enjoy himself. As we browsed the web, we found a great website that had some awesome apartments for seniors that Dad was very excited about.

Once we knew that he was certain about it, we made the preparations and started packing up all of his stuff, so that we could ship it to Arizona and make certain that it would arrive there well before Dad did. We arranged a flight for him and saw him safely on his way, feeling a big relief knowing that his brother who also lives in some of the best senior living Mesa AZ could offer, would be there as a welcoming face to pick him up from the airport and help him settle in his new place.

After one day, Dad called to tell us how much he was enjoying his new living situation and how happy he was to be enjoying the beautiful weather and all the new senior friends that he had made in his community who were always inviting him over for dinner and other activities. He also enjoyed spending more time with his brother and the other members of his family that he had not seen for so many years and when we invited him to come back and spend some of the summer holidays with us, he declined because he was just having too much fun!
