Parents want what is best for their children because of their love for them and would do anything to achieve this. There are many things to worry about for the welfare of their family and could lead to some problems in balancing their life well. This is hard to do specially when many tasks should be done in a day and not enough time for it.

Lead by example because kids usually follow what adults do so be careful with your every action as they will mimic it. Usually, parents are busy with work and other activities as well as children getting busier when they grow older that makes it harder to spend quality time together. If these will not break rules and hinder others then allow them in expressing themselves. But having some limitations set is important and explain why some stuffs are not allowed.

Make sure you listen to them properly by stopping what you are doing currently such as putting down phones and turning off computers. Look and engage with them so they know you are listening to what they are saying.

Have healthy food always available specially bringing snacks when you go around town or just at home while doing your own thing. Meals should also have a regular predictable schedule so they would know when it is time to eat. Kids do not usually monitor their hunger so this must be done by the adults by having food prepared and ready.

Parents want every little thing to perfectly happen and could be overprotective by controlling what their child can eat, have and do. But forgiving yourself when things are not going your way is vital for them in learning things their way. They must try exploring new ones on their own also because you would not be always there.

Remember in taking care of yourself as well by doing things you want. This may make you guilty but it helps in taking care of your children easier. These might make you feel rejuvenated and parent your kids better.
