Selling a mobile home can actually be quite a lucrative thing if one knows how to go about. In the art of selling, one of the most important aspects would be to know who to sell to or simply to determine the target market. One has to know who buys mobile homes first before he sells.

Now in order to come up with the target market of the customers, one has to create a demographic profile of the typical customer. One has to first come up with the general information of the buyers before going into the details. So the first things to look at would be sex, age, and income bracket.

Now the very first thing to know about would of course be the gender of the target market. Now there are some women who are interested in buying these types of things but if one would study about the existing market, one will notice that mostly men are interested in this product. Now as for the age bracket, people with a lot of energy will most likely buy it which means that people from mid twenties up to mid forties are targeted.

Now after determining the age and sex of the customer, the next thing to take note of would be if he can actually afford the product which means that the seller has to know the income bracket of the target. Now mobile houses can actually be bought at a very affordable price as they are much cheaper than real houses. This means that even if one is a blue collar worker, he will definitely be able to afford it.

Now after one has already created his demographic profile, then he has to now look into the details of the behavior of the customer. The reason that this has to be done is simply because one will be able to make sure that he knows how to advertise based on the information. Gaining a deeper understanding of the customer is extremely important.

So first since a mobile home is obviously movable, then the seller will probably be looking at a person who moves around a lot. If one has a job or is in a situation wherein he has to move to places or states easily, then he will be the target. These types of movable houses will make moving much easier for them.

Of course one has to also note whether the person loves to travel or not. The mobile house will enable travelers to be able to travel around from state to state in comfort. So aside from those who need to move a lot, this will also be beneficial to those who love to travel a lot too.

So basically, this would be the details of the customer that is targeted by the seller. Now one would ask himself why sellers or marketers would put so much time and effort here. Now the reason is simply because this will be the basis of the marketing campaign. One has to circle his marketing efforts around the demographic profile and behavior of the customer.
