Deferred Action For Dreamers Overview

By Sally Delacruz

It was noticed that 455,000 undocumented young immigrants were approved to work and live in the U. S. A. This was passed during the initial thirteen months of deferred action meant for childhood arrivals. This information was released by department concerned with homeland security. The endeavors of the state to document creating a path for these young people has been futile. Deferred action for dreamers in a nutshell represented the process of acceptance of young individuals who were brought into United States as kids. Those accepted were and are still known as dreamers.

Halting of the deportation process of the undocumented young people was a decision by the president. The congress was to approve the immigration bill according to him through the senate. The young immigrants posed no threat to the national security as per the particular program. If only they passed the required criteria, then they were allowed to apply and be relieved off deportation.

The young women and men had America in their hearts and soul hence there was no need for their deportation and instead should be given a chance to advance with their lives. This was quoted from the president of United States of America, Obama. Hope has shone to lives of thousands of deports who are ambitious and hardworking through the acting of administration. Every day the number of approval is increasing since the start of this program.

After receiving the deferred action status, the young without proper documentation can acquire work and driving permits. Those others who desired to join colleges also benefited through the help of the government. Beneficiaries involved in a crime would have their authorization, which last for two years, reverted. However, the threat of deportation has greatly been minimized on thousands of young individuals.

The particular dream act would have gone through in 2010 if the vote in senate went through but unfortunately it did not. Gang of eight immigration bill which happened to pass the senate was meant to help the dreamers. This however was opposed by republican leaders who vowed not to take the legislation. Bob Goodlatte the judiciary committee chairman together with majority leader by name Eric Cantor, are working hard to give a legal status to these dreamers although it is not vivid if the path citizenship is inclusive.

It was formulated that by eliminating the fear of deportation from the concerned individuals then the state would have an easy task to curb the criminals who were endangering the peace of the communities. President Obama in addition said that the young individuals who wished to carry on with their education would do so without much distractions.

The steps taken were not the ultimate solution to deportation, but once the congress passes the bipartisan and the commonsense immigration bill then it would give the dreamers a chance to contribute to the growth of the country, helping live up to the history of the nation laws as well as nation of immigrants.

Last but not least, the undertaken step was very important. However individuals needed to note that if they requested for a deferred action then they were and are still not supposed to travel. The preferred steps ought to be taken so as to secure future relations.
