Improve Today's Ecological Crisis By Thinking Green

By Russell Alan

The world we live in continues its downward spiral with nuclear power failures, natural calamities and people's lack of concern for our earth. Our planet will end soon unless people snap out of their unconsciousness. Our problems include a growing population, corruption in the government, and insidious chemicals spewing into the air. What we must do today is for all of us to consider living green.

While we talk about living green, a lot of us have no clue what it truly means. Anything that you do that produces a good effect on the planet is green living. These are things that we must do so that the new generation will have a healthy world to live. The ultimate goal for green living is to have the Earth in ecological balance. When we live green, we can eliminate unsafe toxins. When we live green, our earth will be a better place for all and we can maintain it for a very long time.

Nature's balance is in flux and this is a concern. There is proof in numerous areas of the world of water evaporating and not replenishing. These days we live in a concrete jungle, with the elimination of a lot of forests and trees, that there are scarcely any trees or plants around. The air is just terrible that you can't walk too far without being dirty.

Our world will no longer have any natural resources that we use now including oil and paper. Every day, the earth is faced with ecological disorders, as the earth pleads for help, which keeps falling on deaf ears. Numerous people are being harmed by weird ecological disturbances that are taking place throughout the world. Our world is struggling to deal with the environmental problems, global recession and fiscal crisis. Every single day, billions of dollars are spent on secondary issues, with some genuinely crucial issues dying due to lack of funding. Very little money is being expended on improving the health of the world or advancing a green lifestyle.

How do we, as inhabitants of the earth, modify our habits and learn how to conserve more? Will we be able to get together and save water, utilize less power and plant new trees. Are people generally attempting to clean up the environment and make it better for new generations? Are enough people attempting to create less pollution? Is there a sufficient number of people out there to protect the environment for our children? There is not a lot of time that remains so we must work fast to adopt a green lifestyle.
