What should you feed wild birds and where to get it

When looking to draw birds to feeders, it is often best to provide some type of nut, seed or other food to attract attention. Then, whether making wild bird food at home or obtaining from a local market, it is important to check for any straw or other items which might hurt the bird. Otherwise, strangulation or vocal chord injury could occur.

Organic feed is the healthiest feed for the birds as it is free of pesticides. While this organic feed had only been offered in limited supply in the past, it is now readily available in most markets. So, to protect birds and other wildlife which may venture onto the property, it is often best to use this type feed.

A reservoir not only helps quench thirst but also helps clear the throat which makes it easier to chirp or sing. It's also still important to remember that birds are wild and to keep a reasonable distance. Of course, there are exceptions like when at fairs, festivals, zoos or other locations in which hands on activities are allowed.

When desiring to watch or when working on a journal, it is important to be as quiet and still as possible. If not, the birds could easily be frightened and fly away in haste. So, to assure a successful viewing session, it is often best to let the birds do the singing.

If children are present in the home, or, if one is a teacher, there are several projects related to birds which can be fun for all ages. So, there are projects like drawing and making journal entries about different species to photo contests and others. One could also personalize these projects by adding names, date of creation and other information.

Whereas, if individuals just do not have time to make food, there are several prepackaged brands and varieties on the market which are acceptable. Some of which is wholesome organic nutritional feed and others which hardly have any nutrition at all. As a result, it is always important to read labels to know which ingredients are in the mix.

Individuals can now find a great deal of information related to different birds and other creatures in local bookstores, libraries and online. So, the web is most likely the best place to look for information to include in a game. After which, the creator can then edit and complete whichever game one may be working on at the time.

After which, it can often be fun to share the game with others at different events, parties, workshops and other locations. With a good imagination, there is a lot one can do in the way of creating games which include a message about buying organic wild bird food without pesticides. So, start collecting information, taking pictures because there may very well be a new game coming to town.
