The disposal of a dead body wherein it is burned is popularly known as low cost cremation. This procedure in the United States is quite well known where individuals can make a choice between spreading their ashes to a certain place that they chose or burying them six feet under. Families and surviving clan members of the dead person may also keep the ashes if they want to.

A long time ago, there were people who have adopted this kind of burying method. One group for example were the Vikings. As history books claimed, they would usually put the dead bodies of their loved one together with their personal possessions on boats or rafts. They would later set those boats on fire. Thankfully, that method does not exist in modern times.

A crematorium is a common facility found in several countries all over the world. This place is where the method of cremating dead bodies takes place. Sometimes, crematoriums can be affixed to funeral homes or cemeteries. The burning of the corpse takes place in a chamber that is set to a very high temperature. It enables to reduction of bodies into ashes.

In the religion sector, there are groups that recognized cremation as a mandatory act. They strongly believe that the remains of human beings should be brought back and be one with the earth. Despite their belief, it is still the person who has to decide at the end.

A couple of reasons were cited backing up the growing demand for this method in many countries. The first one is that it is quite safe for the environment as compared to embalming. For those who are unaware, the latter is the procedure in which a dead body is preserved so that family and friends can view it during the funeral.

There were claims from experts that embalming allows the use of toxic chemicals. The latter is believed to be really destructive not just to the surroundings, but it also pose a risk to the health of human beings. However, some individuals found out that even cremation can also produce harmful pollutants

The invention of new ways of remembering your loved ones has changed throughout the years. Cremation lockets are now available for anyone. They are used as a compartment where you can put the ashes of your dead relative. They are mostly made from metal or glass with the price of seventy dollars.

Cremating bodies can be really cost effective as compared to the accustomed way of burial. This is because the latter will require you to pay for more, which results to more expenses. These things include the burial site, the coffin, the transportation fee of the casket and the headstone. Instead of spending more, cremating bodies can just require the family members to gather together without worrying much on expenses.

At the end of the day, both types of procedures have some positive and negative sides. The choice is now left in your hands. Write a request or tell your loved ones if you want low cost cremation to be performed in the future.
