Supermodel Miranda Kerr, Get In Shape The Supermodel Way

Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr, has made her name with her sultry looks and stunning figure, as she graced the catwalks for Victoria's Secret. And just a few months after giving birth to her baby boy Flynn, she was back modelling with style.

One of the things that has made Miranda so successful modelling lingerie is the way she keeps her body in shape, by paying such close attention to her diet, having a real passion for health foods.

Miranda opts for mostly a vegetarian diet, one that's made up of lots of fresh, organic vegetables, fruits and super foods. These are also foods that naturally have a low-glycemic index, making sure that her blood sugar levels are stable throughout the day.

Like all mums-to-be, Miranda gained weight while she pregnant with Flynn, gaining around 30 - 40lbs.

After Flynn was borne, to get back into shape and help lose the pregnancy weight, Miranda dives into a breakfast of super foods, which are full of vitamins, minerals and important nutrients. First up is a glass of freshly pressed organic vegetable juices, made with organic beets, spinach, kale and cucumber, mixed with a freshly squeezed lemon.

Following that, is a super food smoothie blend, mixed together are bee pollen, maca powder, protein powder, goji berries, chia seeds, noni juice, raw cacao nibs and coconut water.

This super food breakfast is a really powerful mix of vitamins, minerals, proteins, fibre, antioxidants and omega-3 fatty acids. It's a great way to give the skin that rude, healthy glow, as well as filling you full of energy so you'll charge through the day, whether it's changing nappies or modeling a photo shoot.

For lunch, Miranda could find herself throwing some olives into a spinach salad with some avocado and feta cheese, or with sweet potato. A typical evening meal might be chicken with lentil soup.

Besides sticking to such a healthy diet, Miranda exercises daily. An expert in yoga, having practiced it for over 10 years, and while pregnant continued with a special form of prenatal yoga. Since giving birth, Pilates is a new addition to the fitness routine. Five sessions a week Miranda jogs as well as using resistance bands and leg weights to keep toned

Most importantly, Miranda shows that by taking care of herself she enjoys the best of both worlds, being a mum and supermodel with a stunning figure
