Will Jesus Return And How

By Kristie Irwin

The return of Christ is an issue that no one has an answer to in the entire world. No one either knows the date or the hour that Christ will make reappearance. Will Jesus return has always been the question asked by many in relation to this topic. People only try to assume and conclude about the reasons for their arguments from what they hear from preachers, read from books or get from prophets.

This controversy has brought about the proclamation by false prophets that they have had revelations of the second coming of Christ. They claim that they know exactly when Christ will return and probably where and how he will make his reappearance. However, when their long awaited prophecies come to pass with no signs of Christ, these people are branded false prophets and cheats.

Some scientists also claim that the earth was never created by God and man evolved from apes. This means that God does not exist. It also means that Christ will not come and therefore the world will never end. Others also claim that God created the earth and He can never destroy what took a lot of time to build so that the world will never end.

The many quotes from the bible are true but to there have been concerns that they were never comprehensive. Jesus said that His second coming would be like in the days of Noah when everything happened mysteriously. Before the floods so talked about in the bible, Noah knew when the floods were coming and built an Ark in preparation to the coming floods but never knew exactly when.

Noah and his family were then protected from the floods by the Ark. From the story of Noah, people can possible deduce and hope that the long told story about the return of Christ will come someday. They still have a little optimism that the story will materialize just like in the case of Noah.

There are direct quotations of Christ in the bible when he says that not even him but only God the father knows the day of his return. This statement has been understood in a number of ways. Others have said that it meant that people of the then generation had no reasons to know his second coming since they never lived in the end times.

In as much as a good percentage of the population of people on earth believes that Christ will come back once more and that there will be a second life in heaven, others have a contrary belief. They base their arguments on other theories of the origin of man like evolution. They also believe that the earth came about as a result of geographical forces.

The question, will Jesus return is still s controversy amongst the clergy and a number of scientists who believe in the evolution of mankind and the geographical theories of the formation of the earth. Many generations of man have passed but their optimism to see the coming of Christ has never come to reality.
