Does Not Work As Advertised - Patio String Lights Review
Solar is weak, at very best, during the cold months. Frequently it's very difficult to purchase lights from a web site since you can actually only get somewhat of an idea of the way it looks in the photograph provided. Every time I call they say they'll send a replacement, but after 30 days still no screw and also the light is useless. The quality is nice and the LED is very bright. I do not think the solar landscape lights on the market are actually designed to illuminate an area. Either critters or deer had been eating my flowers during the night. I have 3 of these and think with the stormy season approaching I'll buy more. They arrived in an extremely timely fashion, of course! It only picks me up when I am two feet away on the ladder setting it up.
It mounts effortlessly, is extremely sensitive to our motion so it lights up quickly, and it throws off lots of light for something so little. I'm certain the rechargeables won't be as durable as the D cells but so far at nearly 8 weeks they're still going strong.
I wanted the movement sensor feature so I did not have to go to the garage to turn the light off and on. The light is very bright given its dimension, a lot brighter than the others I've had.
Since at night there is only one unit functioning on the front of the house it looked bad. After seeing numerous negative critiques on many movement sensor lights I made a decision to purchase the Heath Zenith item. They didn't make me go wow but they're worth the cash. It is good that the LEDs use less energy, however these weren't bright enough.
The Pergola lighting offers enough lighting in the area that makes visibility 100% better than it had been before.
The auto on function with movement is great. A bit of the latch that holds the batteries broke before I possibly could mount the patio string lights. I believe if I wanted something to last well into the future I would have invested more, but you never know? It's real glass, not some plastic piece. Amazon came to the rescue with a wider choice and substantially better costs. Purchased a couple of these patio string lights about six months ago, they work so great I just ordered two more. Super easy to install while offering all of the safety of the standard light with no expense.
Finding it extremely affordable, I instantly ordered one from Amazon. The wiring is #18 braided aluminum. So, if you mount it close to some other source of light, it might be too bright to allow the patio string lights to turn on.

About the Author:
I ordered two patio string lights in April 2011. But, after a month, one of the outdoor track lightings conked out.
